I want to start by apologizing for missing the Product Review Series and the Nickely Friendly Modified Meals Series. This Friday and Saturday, I was occupied helping my workplace host the biggest Art for Aids ever.
These are most of the interns who helped with the event. We don’t look tired but trust me we were, my feet were killing me, but I think the night was so beautiful. All, my blood, sweat and tears were not in vain. We started setting up on Thursday by the end of the day, my body was acting crazy.
My nickel allergy was not made for this, but I did make it through the day without fainting, which was a very good accomplishment.
But later that night, I was so anxiety driven about taking a shower that night or in the morning because there is nickel in water and I didn’t know how it would affect me. But my “third brain,” Tammy helped me. Even though she doesn’t have this allergy, she listens to me with no judgement and helps me make a decision.
At the end of the day, I made it through the event and I didn’t let this allergy dictate my life.Till Next Time,
Live your life
